What is EFT?EFT is a kind of acupressure for the emotions that involves simply tapping on major stress relief points on the face and upper body. It can bring relief on a whole range of issues such as phobias, depression, stress, physical pain or just some situation in life you’d like to feel better about. Emotional difficulties that once seemed insurmountable, or that would take months or years to resolve using conventional means are now seen as ‘tappable issues’ that can be released from your system in a relatively or even totally pain-free way. There is nothing to lose and much to gain by trying EFT on just about anything that might be bothering you. The chances are that someone has already used EFT to resolve the same or a similar challenge successfully. What Happens in A Session? To begin with we’ll talk briefly about the challenge you are facing. Then together we’ll define a goal for the session – what are we aiming to achieve? After that we’ll be tapping on major stress relief points on the body whilst focussing on phrases related to your issue, designed to help you release any emotional blocks and sub-conscious counter-intentions to reaching your goal. If the challenge you are facing is too painful to talk about, or you would simply prefer to work privately, it is possible to conduct a ‘content free’ session. Obviously whatever comes up in any session remains completely confidential. After EFT typically you feel lighter, more grounded and balanced. Thinking becomes clearer and you are free to enjoy life again as you did before. EFT FAQs
